Lived near here and frequently have gone for a year. You can call ahead or walk-in and get the food in ten mins. You can also sit down and eat. No matter, it's always good, consistent, and filling food.

The fish nuggets and catfish tasted amazing! Unfortunately I did not get to taste the shrimp that I ordered originally (they ran out) but I was able to get a fish sandwich in its place.

This place looks like someone recently died in a booth and the main guy who works their doesn't look like he's smiled for a few years, but damn it's cheap and the chicken wing dinner is on point. The portions here are out of control, $10 will get you stuffed and most of their food is pretty tasty. I lived a block away for a couple years and would frequent this place because of their late hours, quick service, and guilty pleasures. The chicken wing dinner is by far my most ordered. It comes with crispy battered jumbo wings over a bed of decent fries and a flatten hoagie roll they turn into garlic bread. I think the 10 piece combo is $10. You can't beat it. The food won't be instagram worthy but it hits the spot.

Best sub just might be my favorite restaurant in all of Chicago! There's nothing better than a scrappy little place that serves up burgers, fries & gyros and I have to say that Best Sub really is the best! I usually go for the chicken tender meal with cheese fries, but the gyro cheeseburger is not to be missed! If you're looking for a pristinely decorated interior with trendy entrees, this might not be the place for you! If you're looking for no-gimmicks, classically delicious goods in brown bags, this is definitely one to check out!

I spent over an hour in the snow driving back from the burbs. There was a quasi homeless guy sleeping in one of the booths. They used cardboard boxes on the floor to soak up the snow. The floor was gross. The homeless guy made the whole place smell like feet. I had every reason to hate this place and leave a bad review. Let me just say if you are expecting anything other than basic old school greasy late night food, don't come here. That being said, this place has some seriously decent food. I was really surprised. It is also REALLY cheap. I think I spent $7 on a foot long philly with fries and a pop. It was awesome. -1 star for the unkempt atmosphere and the totally disorganized menu. I'm being nice to say this is anything less than a sh*thole. I don't care. The food tastes good.

Fried chicken, fried fish, fried shrimp, gyros, burgers, philly steak, yeah one of those places. It's what you expect from a greasy hole in the wall, with great low prices. A chicken sandwich with fries and a drink is less than $5, and come to think of it most meals run about the same. The fish sandwich is solid, and the fries are crispy. Be clear when you order, though, or you'll end up with two sandwiches and a strawberry Crush in your to-go bag.

This one and a half star food place gets 5 stars for having a huge menu that includes fried okra, sub sandwhiches, several kinds of fish, gyros, burgers, hot dogs, polish sausauge, shrimp. chicken, pizza puffs, cheese sticks, and a whole bunh of other stuff I can't remember. I enjoy getting the #1 special, which is a big hamburger with all kinds of toppings, fries and a can of soda for 2.49$ And they're open until 2 am on weekdays and 4 am on weekends. This place is kind of scary though and you may be solicited, but you don't have to eat there. They're fine with calling and ordering and you go get your food and get the fuck out.
